Within the conceptual framework of behavioural Biology, Physiology and Biology of social systems, a dog can be understood to be navigating regulations and constraints within its human family in a canine way. Within human-dog teams, consistent and, above all, clear communication is crucial, so that our dogs understand us and that confusion and conflicts can be avoided. The main focus of dog education is building a trustful dog-human relationship. Both verbal and nonverbal communication is important.
